And most of the time top-notch services like these don’t come cheap.

Firehost Review: Conclusion

firehost reviewNow back to the main question, Is FireHost worth it, despite its high cost for a secure cloud hosting?. Indeed it is undeniable that FireHost secure cloud hosting is expensive. Every additional feature or service that you add to your server entails additional cost. But let me just ask you this question, what is more important to you? Your money or security and peace of mind? If you want a cloud hosting provider that really delivers what it promises, high quality services, outstanding customer support and worry free solution then FireHost is your best shot. But if you want to pay less for a cloud hosting then you better try other cloud service provider that offers low rates but poor/questionable services, not to mention the headache and stress that will give to you when something went wrong.

FireHost is definitely not for beginners. By this, I mean totally beginners and does not have any experience on web hosting, web site and using cloud solutions. No, I would not recommend FireHost for totally new beginners, you would just waste your money. FireHost is ideal for people or a company who means business and who wants to serve their customers with out most quality of service. If you have a growing online business, or even a growing WordPress blog (although I would recommend WP Engine instead for WordPress), specially if you are dealing with sensitive information like credit card information, then FireHost is a good investment for you.

Firehost review of Real Customers:

“I now use Firehost and they are kicking serious booty! They are the subject of my Ultimate WordPress Hosting solution post as well.”John Saddington (TentBlogger)

“We talked with a lot of sites, and we heard a lot of nightmare stories about downtime, unreliable tech support and general nightmare scenarios, but one name kept coming up time and time again as a good choice, so that is what first drove us to take a look at Firehost. We heard that the customer service was top notch, we heard that their servers were reliable and, most importantly, their scalability allowed you on-the-fly upgrading, just what we needed for those unexpected high traffic days.”

“Once we talked with them and saw their commitment to their customers firsthand, it was a no brainer who we wanted to host TechnoBuffalo. That is why we are now proudly hosted with Firehost, and proudly display their name at the bottom of every page. In the world of online publishing, there is no greater recommendation then where you actually choose to put your digital assets, so consider this our stamp of approval for Firehost to handle all of your online hosting needs.”-TechnoBufallo

“For what it’s worth, I’ve been with Firehost since last July and it’s been a very good experience overall. I had a Rackspace dedicated server for several years and had nothing but problems with PCI compliance. I have had no PCI problems since moving to FireHost. It may be more expensive than the other solutions you are considering, but you are paying for the top-notch support more than for the server resources.”Hobartimus (webhostingtalk member)

“With FireHost you don’t have to worry about servers and admins and hiring an army of geeks to deal with protection and keeping your data safe and secure. FireHost takes care of all of it for you and you just don’t have to think about it.”Ryan Thrash (MODX)

“Protecting my websites from hackers is a monumental task in and of itself. FireHost is the only secure cloud hosting company able to show me that they actually do have the goods to get the job done, and do it right.”Kevin Mitnick (Mitnick Security Consulting, LLC)

“Every time we have a media hit we see a spike in traffic, which brings both rewards and technical challenges. FireHost’s Secure Cloud Servers help us prepare for these events. Their ability to scale is second to none.”Marc Nager (Startup Weekend)

  1. How does Firehost stack up against companies such as Rackspace, Connectria or AWS? These 3 provide secure cloud hosting as well.

    • Hi Mike! Firehost has many features and services that other companies like Rackspace or AWS does not have. I’m not saying that they are the very best cloud hosting company out there but they do have an edge over the other companies. You might want to check my article Firehost vs Rackspace Cloud to see the difference.
